The Ombudsman Program is designed to support and empower consumers by resolving individual complaints involving long-term care service, while working to improve and enhance the long-term living system for the residents and their families.
Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, ambulating, application and removal of adaptive devices. Laundry and cleaning can also be provided as needed.
Minor children and adults and older adults who are experiencing mental health or development difficulties that prevent them from appropriately managing their financial resources should be appointed a payee to assist them with their financial management.
